Download and install the program. If the computer doesn't ask to restart,
restart it anyway. 
When the computer restarts, delete the WinPoET shortcut on the desktop. It
will not work.

Go to Start --> Settings --> Dialup Networking. Double-click on "Make New
Connection."

Type a name for the connection. For the device, select "iVasion PoET Adapter
#1." Click Next.

When it asks for the Host Name or IP address, enter "1.1.1.1" Click Next.
Click Finish on the next screen.

Right-click on the new connectoid, and go to properties.

1) Click on the Security tab.
- enter the User name and password. Domain should be left blank.
- Check "Connect Automatically" 
- Uncheck "Log on to Network," "require Encrypted Password," and "Require
Data Encryption"

2) click on the Dialing tab (this is all optional)
- Check "This is the default connection."
- Select "Dial whenever a network connection is not present." (This option
works really well if "Connect Automatically" is checked.)
- Uncheck "Disconnect when connection may not be needed."

Double click on the connectoid, and connect. The computer will treat the
WinPoET connection as a regular modem connection, so there should be no
compatibility issues.
