Make sure the DNS entries are in the "Name server address:" box
If they were already there then you need to trash the TCP/IP prefs
First open the hard drive and then open the system folder
Open the Preference folder (it's in the system folder)
In this folder you want to locate and throw away the TCP/IP Preferences
file
Restart
If you still can't connect then it's time to nuke
